PROJECT ATLAS

ARCHIVAL SYSTEMS

Project Atlas is organized into two complementary record systems.

Collection Records preserve documentation concerning physical artworks.

Historical Records preserve documentation concerning events, publications, exhibitions, and other developments associated with the practice.

These systems remain administratively separate and are cross-referenced when a documented relationship exists.

ARCHIVAL SYSTEM 01

COLLECTION RECORDS

Documentation of Physical Artworks

Collection Records contain object-level documentation for individual artworks.

Records may include identifying information, technical specifications, provenance, certificate data, ownership documentation, exhibition history, publication history, condition information, and related archival materials.

Each record corresponds to a specific physical work.

ARCHIVAL SYSTEM 02

HISTORICAL RECORDS

Documentation of Events and Career History

Historical Records document verified events associated with the artistic practice of Moschburg.

Records may include interviews, publications, exhibitions, awards, lectures, public presentations, major commissions, institutional milestones, documentary appearances, and books.

Each accepted record receives a permanent sequential accession number beginning with PA-001.

ARCHIVAL NOTE

Project Atlas is an active archive.

Records are accessioned when sufficient documentation exists to establish an artwork, event, or related development within the historical record. Published accession numbers are permanent and are not reassigned or reused.

Records may be expanded or corrected when additional verified information becomes available. Material revisions are documented within the affected record.
