HISTORICAL RECORDS
Historical Records preserve verified documentation concerning events, publications, exhibitions, commissions, and other developments associated with the artistic practice of Moschburg.
Each accepted record is assigned a permanent sequential accession number and maintained as part of the developing historical record within Project Atlas.

WHAT HISTORICAL RECORDS DOCUMENT
Historical Records document verified events associated with the artistic practice of Moschburg. Records may include interviews, independent publications, exhibitions, awards, lectures, public presentations, major commissions, institutional milestones, documentary appearances, books, and other developments supported by sufficient documentation.
Historical Records do not function as a chronological list of every event in the career. Inclusion depends on the existence, relevance, and sufficiency of supporting documentation and on whether the material belongs within the public archival record.
Inclusion does not, by itself, constitute a declaration of historical significance, institutional endorsement, critical importance, or market standing.
RELATIONSHIP TO COLLECTION RECORDS
Historical Records remain administratively separate from Collection Records, which document individual physical artworks.
The two systems may cross-reference one another when a factual relationship exists, such as an artwork appearing in an exhibition, publication, interview, commission, or other documented event.
Historical Records use the PA accession series. Collection Records retain their existing object, certificate, and inventory identifiers and do not use PA numbering.
ACCESSION SYSTEM
Each accepted Historical Record receives a permanent sequential accession number beginning with PA-001.
Accession numbers are assigned in sequence and remain attached to the record after publication.
Published accession numbers are not reassigned or reused, including when a record is corrected, expanded, restricted, or removed from public display.
The PA accession series identifies Historical Records only. It does not represent a ranking, valuation, chronology of artistic importance, or classification of significance.
RECORD PERMANENCE
Published Historical Records are intended to maintain stable public identifiers and permanent URLs whenever technically possible.
If a record URL must change, the previous address should redirect to the current record whenever the website platform permits.
Correction, revision, restriction, or archival notation should generally be preferred over deletion when maintaining the integrity of the historical record.
A record may be restricted from public access when privacy, rights, documentation, contractual, security, or other legitimate archival concerns require it. Its accession number remains reserved.
